Time to Help our Neighbor

On Tuesday August 2, tragedy struck the Dreith family that lives on Manzanita Way here in the Pines.  The two daughters, Maddy and Delaney, of Richard and Jamie Dreith were involved in a single car accident on Highway 32.  The excerpt below taken from her “GoFundMe page” better explains the situation and your help is badly needed.

“Hi, my name is Trudi Dillard and I’m a family friend to the Dreith family. I am honored that I have been given permission and responsibility from the Dreith family to create this GoFundMe page in order to help offset costs related to the hospitalization of their daughter, Maddy Dreith. On Tuesday August 2, 2016, Maddy and her Sister Delaney were involved in a single vehicle accident on Highway 32 just west of Chester, CA. Maddy and Delaney were both air flighted to Enloe Hospital where Delaney was released that evening with minor injuries, however, Maddy suffered a traumatic brain injury and has been in a coma since she arrived at Enloe. She is in the early stages of her fight and unfortunately prognosis is not known at this time. What we do know, is that Maddy is a fighter and with the love and support from her family & friends and God’s loving hand on her, that only the best possible outcome is what is in store for Maddy in the days to come. Her family has been diligently by her side from day one and one less thing to worry about financially, certainly helps them continue their efforts in supporting their daughter. No donation is too big or small and is appreciated by the Dreith family. If you can’t donate at this time, PLEASE help us by SHARING this GoFundMe campaigne by ways of email, Facebook and Twitter in hopes that we can help this family with all the unexpected expenses related to this tragity. Also, an account has been set up at Plumas Bank for those who wish to donate locally. Best Regards, Trudi”

No amount is too small so please click on this link, GoFundMe for Maddy, or if you would rather just write a check, it can be dropped off at Plumas Bank in Chester.

Our prayers for Maddy and the entire Dreith Family.
