2017 Membership Meeting and BBQ

Subject: Notice of 2017 Annual Meeting of Members and Annual Neighborhood BBQ

Date: July 8th       BBQ Time: 1:00 PM      Annual Meeting 2:00 PM

Place: 500 Ponderosa Drive in the backyard of Terry and Tina Miller’s Home

It’s just around the corner so let’s get ready to have a great time and enjoy meeting all the new neighbors at the BBQ that starts at 1:00PM.  This year we will provide Chicken in the barrel, Tri-tips, french bread, plates, napkins and utensils.  Just like last year all you need to bring is a side dish or dessert, beverage of your choice, chairs and a big appetite.  You will receive a survey the week before the BBQ to RSVP and share your side dish or dessert.  I will use the blog to list who is bringing what so we will have a variety of foods available.

The annual meeting will follow the BBQ and will follow the agenda stated below.  If you have an item that needs to be discussed please email it to [email protected] before July 1st so we can add it to the agenda.  If you can’t make it to the meeting and want to join please fill out the enclosed Membership Application and Paperless agreement.

One Response to 2017 Membership Meeting and BBQ

  1. J says:

New Business had a lot of unanimous votes, that was cool.

Ferrel Gas: When I built my house I switched to an electric stove. Now I’m shopping for a propane stove. PG&E does a great job for about 360 days a year, the remaining isn’t really their fault, but I’m tired of cooking on the front porch.

Firewise: It seems nobody wants their house to burn down. Go figure?
By the way, becoming a Firewise Community does take a little time. We have to write an assessment, do a project and a few other things. Until this site takes off US Mail will be used to educate and communicate. In the mean time the neighborhood is looking OK. Yes, there is room for improvement and it’s being worked on.

Camping: It seems we need better definitions and more communication. In Sonoma County you can’t set up a tent in your backyard for the kids. No kidding, talked to a Sonoma County Sheriff deputy once.

    two cents worth done,
    J
